Data to inform 2026 review of judicial salaries

The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) has provided evidence to the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB) as part of their annual review of judicial pay.
This year’s evidence updates on judicial selection exercises which have completed in 2024-25 and 2025-26 to date, and includes detailed tables relating to recruitment for fee-paid courts roles, which have not been included in previous submissions.
The JAC also publishes annual official statistics of applications and recommendations for selection exercises completed between 1 April and 31 March each year.
