Data to inform 2027 review of judicial salaries

The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) has provided evidence to the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB) as part of their annual review of judicial pay.
This year’s evidence updates on judicial selection exercises which have completed in 2025-26 and 2026-27 to date, and provides commentary on trends observed from the latest data.
The JAC also publishes annual official statistics of applications and recommendations for selection exercises completed between 1 April and 31 March each year.
