2. Weighting in exercises and a proposed Pilot for the High Court exercise (Back to top)

The Head of Selection Policy presented the paper on weighting of skills and abilities in selection exercises and a proposed Pilot for the 2025 High Court exercise.

The Board discussed the paper. The Board confirmed its support for the principle of weighting skills and abilities in selection exercises and to test this in a pilot that should include a large exercise. The Board agreed not to conduct a pilot on the 2025 High Court Judge exercise.

The Board agreed that the executive should develop further proposals for a weighting pilot and bring a further paper to the Board for consideration.
